Featured Products is an extremely flexible widget that lets you showcase top products of your store in an eye-catching and attractive sliding gallery or grid. You can display a specified number of products from all catalog, specific categories or a list of products of your choice. You can filter and order your products using 6 filters: Best Seller, Top Rated, Most Viewed, Recently Added, Position and New Products.

Intenso lets you add unlimited Featured Products blocks to any CMS page.

To Create a Featured Products slider

  1. On the Admin menu, select Theme > Featured Products.
  2. Click Add Slider button.
  3. Complete required fields under General Information:
Featured Products slider - General tab
The Identifier must be a unique text string. Use only alphanumeric characters, underscores and dashes.
Avoid selecting "All Catalog" as the Products Source if you have more than 100 products in your store. Retrieving, filtering and sorting the full collection of products may slow down the page. If possible, select always "Specific Category" or "Specific Products"
  4. [Only applies to Multi-Store installations] On the left pane, click the Store views tab and set the store view (this tab is only visible if you have created additional Store Views on your Magento installation)
  5. This step applies only if you selected the value "Specific Products" on the Products Source field of the General Information tab. On the left pane, click the Featured Products tab and select the products to feature:
    Featured Products grid
